State Farm® Insurance Agent Lee Lancaster

"This company scams their customers! They sell you on roadside service. Then when you use it, it’s actually a company called Agero that they teamed up with. Little did I know, Agero can charge whatever they like because they have all the service providers sign NDA’s. So they can charge whatever price, NOT the price of the actual tow company service. Then when I asked State Farm for an itemized receipt since the company works with them I was told they don’t have that information. I asked how it was that State Farm pays their portion of the bill per insurance. He stated Agero pays in State Farm’s behalf. So Agero charged me 562$ out of pocket after they ran his “insurance “. I called the tow truck company and of course they were bound by the non disclosure agreement and couldn’t provide me an itemized receipt either BUT I was given a quote from the same location pick up and drop off and they would have charged me $416.00. State Farm said there was nothing they could do. They are totally okay with Agero charging me 100% for the tow, charging me the hook up fee and the miles State Farm should have paid (since per Jon at State Farm Agero pays on behalf of State Farm) AND a little extra for Agero’s pocket as well. So paying extra every month isn’t enough to have Agero be a middle man and help me get help when stranded, they go the extra mile and have you pay for everything and then some anyways. I paid $262 more than I should have. If I would have called myself I would have only paid $299 out of pocket. The kicker is they said it was my fault. I didn’t have to use the roadside service that gets paid additional every month. Like seriously!!!!! State Farm is a JOKE THAT SCAMS PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY."
